DIY Almond Milk Recipe

 
 

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup almonds

  • 2 cups water

  • Muslin/cheese cloth

  • Blender


Recipe:

  • Soak 1 cup almonds for 6-12 hours (or overnight)

  • Remove the water that the almonds are soaking in

  • Add 2 cups of water to a blender and then add 1 cup soaked almonds

  • Blend until they reach a milky consistency

  • Strain in a muslin/cheese cloth

Enjoy!

In the mood for Chocolate Almond milk? Just take 1 cup almond milk you just made and add 1 tsp cacao powder (Himalania organic cacao powder is what I used) and 2-4 pitted dates for sweetness!
